| The luxury five star Melia Barcelona finds itself located in the commercial district of Barcelona, close to the centre of the city where numerous places of interest are located. The new establishment strikes with exclusivity and a modern interior. It offers everything a guest could possibly wish for from excellent service and a privileged position to outstanding facilities. 299 standard rooms, 6 junior suites and 9 suites are housed within the building. Superior rooms are provided with whirlpool in both shower and bathtub. Within the hotel you will also find "The Level" where guests can enjoy a private reception and concierge desk, private breakfast, wireless internet access and the free use of the spa and gym. (Please note that "The Level" will be closed between the 27th of July 2007 and the 3rd of September 2007.)    Two lovely and tasteful decorated restaurants are at your disposition. "Artemis" is the a la carte restaurant in which delicious cuisine is served. Additional to the daily breakfast buffet guests can also enjoy a Sunday Brunch during the winter months. A snack bar and cafeteria as well as a Piano bar are inviting you for a drink and a traditional "tapa" during the day. Leisure facilities at the Melia Barcelona are excellent. While some guests work out in the gymnasium other guests prefer to get pampered in the hotel’s spa which is offering numerous treatments and facilities.
